Self-Experiment: Intuition

For about three years now, I tried to think myself out of the hole that searching for the meaning of life digs around one's self. I've looked everywhere twice and found confusion thrice. Some bread crumbs that might lead to a path here and there, but nothing concrete.
But then today happened. In a flash of inspiration, I realized something.
The navigation tool getting you through the fog to the thing that is meant for you might not be rationality after all. Instead, the fog itself is probably made out of what you think is the solution: over-intellectualization.
Believe me, I've tried. I read as many books as I could. Tried what seemed logical. It all led me back to rationality – which didn't work on its own.
That doesn't mean discarding rationality, of course not! But I live in my head a lot. Maybe too much. Yet neglecting your gut feeling is like throwing away a superpower. Even some of the most brilliant entrepreneurs and scientists say so! Then who am I to only follow my intellect?
Since I still need evidence, here's the self-experiment I propose: For the next ten days, I will follow my intuition – even if the intellect counsels otherwise.
I will get back to you with the results I gathered. Let's see what happens.
