Never Ask For Permission

One thing is certain if you want to live a life that is true to you: you will face resistance.

This resistance can take many forms, but it is usually found in the opinions of other people. Some people think themselves so important that they get offended when you make a decision without asking for their opinion first. But this is only a ruse, because what truly offends them is something else entirely. They do not get offended because you did not ask for their opinion, but because you did not ask for their permission. Just imagine what a shackled life it would be if you had to gather everyone’s permission first.

One of the great beauties of the modern world is that we are born free. Take advantage of this gift. If you really want to do something, do not ask for permission first.
